College Football

Surly I was not the only one who read the story today about the Oklahoma State football program. I can only hope that the topics discussed are fabricated. Could you imagine being one of the girls who was used to have to sex with recruits. The university was basically making them into some sort of prostitute for their benefit in hopes of having an athlete commit to their school.

I have always said that student athletes do not need to be paid while in college. If the university wants to have a trust fund set up for their athletes in order to pay them some sort of compensation after they leave then that is fine. But do not seat her and tell me that student athletes do not have it made already with room, board, school, meals, and clothing already provided to them. Will their clothes most likely have their university logo on it? Most likely it will but they are representing that university, and I rather they have a shirt with the university logo on it than some ghetto clothes.

College football will continue to grow and so will the problems that exist at universities.
